Faculty

Assumption High School’s faculty is made up of lay teachers. This committed group of individuals believes deeply in the power of an educated mind. Assumption faculty understand learning takes place in a variety of ways, and our teachers often seek and encourage learning opportunities that exist beyond traditional classroom settings. With a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, our teachers serve as moderators of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, athletic coaches, and role models. Many hold master’s degrees in education or content areas, and have demonstrated competence by meeting all of the criteria for the Iowa teaching standards.
