Student Ambassadors
Being an Assumption Student Ambassador is a huge honor! Student Ambassadors represent Assumption at all times. They travel to grade schools to talk about their Assumption education. Often, Student Ambassadors celebrate Mass or help conduct an activity with grade school students. Ambassadors also lead tours around the school for visiting families and grade school classes. Any prospective student who wants to learn about the school may "shadow" one of the many Student Ambassadors.
Student Council
The Assumption Student Council is responsible for all the school events dealing with Homecoming, Turnabout, and Prom. Members of the Council are also instrumental in leading the student body during the Student Hunger Drive. Anyone interested in participating in the planning process or have decorating ideas for these events are encouraged to contact any member of the Student Council or one of the advisors.
YAWHOO (Young Adults Who Help Out Others)YAWHOO, founded by Assumption student Lisa Herman in 2003, works to promote social justice in our community and throughout the world. YAWHOO's many service projects have included visiting nursing homes, mentoring children at Project Renewal (an after-school haven for at-risk youth), and collecting books to send to Africa.
