Mr. Gary Laake is in his 35th year at AHS. He and his wife, Diane, enjoy family time with Angela; Andy and his wife, Michelle, grandson, Kyle, and granddaughter Ashley; and Alyssa and her husband, Layne, and grandson, Dylan. When Gary isn’t busy coaching golf at AHS, he enjoys golfing and riding motorcycles.

Courses offered in the business department include Consumer Economics, Personal Finance 1, Marketing, Accounting I, Accounting II, and Applied Economics. By taking business classes, students are able to prepare for a business major in college while extending their knowledge of the financial world.
